Bryce: Juli? What are you still doing here?
Juli: I was just thinking.
Bryce: It's pickup day. The cans are in front.
Juli: I know. You need some help?
Bryce: No. Maybe I'll do it later.
Juli: Are those my eggs?
Bryce: Yeah. Yeah, I dropped them.
Juli: They're not broken. Why are you throwing them away? Don't you want them?
Bryce: It wasn't me. My dad didn't think it was worth the risk.

Dana: He's got a big crush on you.
Juli: What are you talking about? Bryce Loski does not have a crush on me.
Dana: Oh, yeah? In science, I caught him staring at you. He said it was because there was a bee in your hair. Is that the lamest cover-up or what?
Juli: Maybe there was a bee.
Dana: The only bee you're attracting is B-R-Y-C-E. I'm telling you, that boy is lost in love land. Come on.
Juli: Where?
Dana: I saw him sneaking off with Garrett. Come on.
Garrett: Are you freaking mental? Juli Baker. You hate her.
Bryce: That's what's so weird. I don't think I do. I can't stop thinking about her.
Garrett: You got it bad, man.
Bryce: What do I do?
Garrett: You gotta nip this in the bud. I mean, think about it. These aren't real emotions.
Bryce: They're not?
Garrett: Nah, you just feel guilty because of the whole egg thing.
Bryce: Yeah, and I 6)insulted her yard.
Garrett: Exactly. The place is a dump anyways.
Bryce: It's not her fault. Her dad's got a 7)retarded brother and all their money goes to helping him.
Garrett: A retard? Well, that ought to tell you something.
Bryce: About what?
Garrett: About Juli.
Bryce: What are you saying?
Garrett: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, my friend.
Bryce: Oh, heh. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I'll talk to you later.
Garrett: OK.
Dana: I'm sorry. I thought...
Juli: It's OK. It's fine.

And it was. Because now my confusion was gone. I was sure I no longer liked Bryce Loski.

茱莉：也许真的是有蜜蜂呢。
丹娜：你吸引的唯一的“蜜蜂”是布—莱—斯。我跟你说，真的，那小子坠入爱河了。跟我来。
茱莉：去哪？
丹娜：我看到他偷偷跟加勒特溜到一边去了。跟我来。
加勒特：你疯了啊？茱莉·贝克。你一直讨厌她啊。
