(Maurice finally found Alec in Clive’s boathouse.)
Maurice: Alec.
Alec: So you got the wire, then?
Maurice: What wire?
Alec: The wire I sent to your house. Telling you…Oh sorry. I’m a bit tired, what with one thing and another…no, telling you to come here to the boathouse at Pendersleigh without fail.
