Beijing Road is one of the oldest areas in Guangzhou. It has everything that a tourist needs—cheap clothes, good food and even a little history. A lane was built in this area 1)depicting scenes from the Song Dynasty some 1,000 years ago. In 1997, Beijing Road was honored as one of the best model shopping areas in the country.
