A: Mr. Brown, may I introduce a friend of mine, Mr. Smith?
Mr. Smith, this is Mr. Brown.
B: Hello. Nice to meet you, Mr. Smith.
C: Hello. I’m pleased to meet you, Mr. Brown.
B: I’m pleased to meet you, too.
Mr. Brown, may I introduce you to Mr. Smith."
(1)Mr. Brown, I’d like(或I want) you to meet Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith, this is Mr. Brown.(布朗先生,我想介绍你和史密斯先生见面。
(2)Do you know each other? This is Mr. Brown, and this is Mr. Smith.(你们相识吗? This is Tom Smith.
(How)Nice to meet you. 不过, 有些英国人会说:How do you do?(你好吗?)回答当然也是How do you do?留意How do you do? 过些日子再见,就应该说:How are do?(近来好吗?)
May I introduce myself? My name is Tom Smith.或Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom Smith.
How do you do? My name is Peter Brown.(你好,我叫彼得布朗。)
说过How do you do?或Nice to meet you. I’ve heard so much about you.
