Olivia Ong（王俪婷，1985— ）是时下备受日本和新加坡两地乐迷赞赏的新加坡籍女歌手，在日本走红，以翻唱英文歌曲为主。2001年的时候，年仅15岁的Olivia Ong在参加一场歌唱比赛时被日本一家唱片公司的总裁相中，并签入其旗下。结束了在新加坡的中学教育后，她来到日本继续学业，并开始了其歌唱生涯。从2005年至今，Olivia Ong陆续推出了一系列翻唱专辑及少量的原创专辑，以其清澈柔美的嗓音深得日本、新加坡等地乐迷的广泛关注和热烈好评，人气迅速攀升。2008年年末，Olivia Ong正式加盟台湾华研国际音乐。
本期推荐的“Sometimes When We Touch”出自Olivia Ong于2008年推出的专辑Kiss in the Air（《空气中的吻》）。这首英文歌曲原是加拿大著名创作型歌手Dan Hill（丹·希尔，1954— ）于1977年推出的专辑Longer Fuse（《更长的导火线/保险丝》）里的主打曲，也是其成名作。Dan Hill的原唱版本“磁性十足”，而Olivia Ong演绎的版本则“柔情满溢”，两个版本各有自己独特的风味。初次听到Olivia Ong演绎的这个版本的人，很难不为之动容。而起初不熟悉Olivia Ong的人在了解了其信息后，则更是难以想象当时只有23岁的她竟能将此曲演绎得如此成熟而又耐人寻味……
